She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Patterson and Clara Long Patterson; her son James Michael Ellington; and her sister Louise Patterson Goode. She is survived by: her son Larry Walter Patterson of Bostic; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Ledford Hooper of Ellenboro; her grandchildren, Shannon Patterson Leatherman (Paul) of Bostic, Marsha Ellington Dial (Anthony) of Laurinburg and Jamie Ellington (Debbie) of Virginia; and her pet Bayley. She is also survived by 6 nieces and 3 nephews.
