He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Halston Carr and Lelda Campbell Carr; his sons, Lawrence Carr, Gary Carr and Anthony "Tony" Carr; and his siblings, Lorraine Ennis, Geraldine Ray, Sandra Owens, Arthur Carr and Doug Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Jean Carr; his children, Debora Cale (Robert) of Elk Grove, Kristen Henry (Peter) of Fairview and Jack Carr (Julie) of Boiling Springs; his grandson Dillon Carr; and his siblings, Al Carr of Old Town, Thomas Carr of Mount Holly and Charlene Gerry of New Port Richey, Florida. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
