She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Oakes and Edith Oakes. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Leon Guffey; her children, Tina Collis (Wayne) of Gordonsville, VA, Harvey, Jr. (Wanda) and Tonya Bailey (Roger) of Ellenboro, NC; her sisters, Jeanette Simpson, Sarah Luffman (Archie), Sally Oakes and Greensboro; her grandchildren, Leslie Hanley (Duke), Melissa Call (Chris), Justin Collis (Rochelle), Matthew Guffey (Katie), Katie Goodrich (Timothy), Chad Ridings (Annie), Aaron Ridings (Laura), Heather Lynch, AJ Lynch (Kaitlin) and Alan Michael Bailey (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Rebekah, Alexis Call, Skylar, Blake Hanley, Andy Collis, Will, Calvin, Lydia Guffey, Luke, Emma, Isaac, John, Lily, Caleb, Josie Ridings, Easton Lynch, Thomas, Tristyn and Gavin Bailey; and her close friend Nellie. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, many other relatives and close friends.
The family does want everyone attending to be aware that the family has had some recent covid positive exposure, please practice safe distancing.
