He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Burnette, Sr.; and his daughters, Kathy Martin and Levondia Cates. He is survived by: his wife Kay Burnette; his children, Tami Lovelace (Doug) of Ellenboro, Joey Wright (Karen) of Bostic, Tommy Burnette of Winston-Salem and Nicky Burnette of Greer, SC; his sister Betty Smith of Lake Lure; his grandchildren, Michael Wright, Brittany Lail, Ben Burnette and Curtis Burnette; his great grandchildren, Kat Wright and Grant Lail; and his pet Annie.
