She was predeceased by: her parents, G. R. Deviney and Daisy Deviney; her former husband Fred Ford; and her siblings, Rev. Ray Deviney and Bertha Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Leonard Burke; her children, Kathy Ford of Concord, Ronald Ford (Terri) of Rutherfordton, Donald Ford (Mary) of Bostic and Jerry Burke (Wendi) of Forest City; and her brother Bobby Crowe (Diane) of Bostic. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; there are several nieces and nephews.
