She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Memory Hutchins and Lora Lookadoo Hutchins; her husband Bobby Cannie Freeman; and her siblings, Doris Hutchins Huntsinger, Carie Hutchins Smawley, Margaret Hutchins Bennick and Carl Monroe Hutchins.
She is survived by: her children-in-law, Benson Freeman, Amanda Penson Freeman, Sonny Penson and Crystal Penson; her grandchildren, Creedence Taylor Freeman, Ranger Phoenix Freeman, Jacob Norris Penson and Emma Dawn Penson; her friend Daisy Mae Ramsey of Shelby, NC.; and also Diane Melton Penson of Bostic.
