He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Dexter Rogers and Samantha Greene Rogers; and his brothers, Lester Hayes Rogers, Lowell Rogers and Carroll Dean Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Carpenter Rogers; his sons, Bryan Keith Rogers of Bostic, Randall Dean Rogers (Linda) of Casar and Wesley Adam Rogers of Bostic; and his siblings, Donald Rogers of Maiden, Betty Rogers of Lincolnton and Rita Hamrick of Lincolnton. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
