It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Thomas (Bostic, North Carolina), born in Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2018, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Hoyle Byers; and her siblings, Lucille Byers and James Byers. She is survived by: her parent Grace Rochester Byers; her sister Kathy; her husband Dale Thomas; her children, Phillip Dale Thomas of Rutherfordton, Mark Anthony Thomas of Bostic and Amy Nicole Thomas of Las Vegas; her brother Steve Byers of Shelby; and her granddaughter Heather Thomas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
