It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Green of Bostic, North Carolina, born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Green and Estella Howard Green; his siblings, Robert W. Green, Jr., Denver Green, Mary Ellen Palma and Mareta Koonze; and his granddaughter Helen Anne Devens.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Green; his children, Lydia Green, Lori Ann Ivey and James Stephen Devens, Sr.; his sister Rose Phillips of Waterford, Ohio; his half-brother Thomas Bruce Green of Ohio; his grandchildren, James Stephen Devens, Jr., Ryan Burdick, Hailey Shehan, Mackenzie Lovelace, Liam Waddell and Alexandria Ivey; his great grandchildren, Helen Devens, Kason Devens, Hadley Shehan, Everley Sims and A'lyriana Valentine; and his grandson Josh Pegram.
