It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Toney of Bostic, North Carolina, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hicks Toney and Lucy Morrow Toney; his former wife Shelby Jean Toney; and his siblings, David, Donald Toney and Dorothy Toney Carver.
He is survived by: his wife Deurlene Hodge Toney; his children, Jerry Darrell Toney (Dawn) of Rock Hill and Pamela Toney Melton (Jeff) of Ponce Inlet, Florida; his sister Doris Toney Scronce of Shelby; his grandchildren, Whitney Blake Butler, Bryson Lee Parris and Jerrett Ethan Toney; and his great grandchild Alexander Holden Graves.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Rutherford County Honor Guard, 564 Terry Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
