He was predeceased by: his grandmother Irene Van Dyke; and his half-brother Travis Coggins. He is survived by: his parents, Dean Van Dyke of Bostic and Millie Martin of Shelby; his siblings, Tonya Hoppes (Bryan Rogers) of Bostic, Shane Van Dyke (Carol) of High Point, Eric Van Dyke of Bostic, Curtis Hardin (Donna) of Rutherfordton and Josh Coggins (Nikki) of Lattimore; his stepsister Shannon Gragg of Bostic; his grandfather Charles Van Dyke of Bostic; and his nephews, Austin Hoppes of Bostic, Kenny and Van Dyke of Bostic.
