He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Alice Hooper Smith; and his siblings, Jeanie Marlowe, Judy Smith, Janice Smith, Jimmy Millies, Johnny Smith and Robbie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Byers Smith; his sons, Jackie Ray Smith (Jennifer Hope) and Michael Scott Smith (Angela); and his grandchildren, Austin Smith (Hannah), Chelsea Smith, Courtney Johnson (Jermiah) and Payton Smith.
