He is survived by: his children, Todd Lavender (Amy) of Bostic and Lisa Lavender Tauss (Frank) of Haymarket; his siblings, Johnny Lavender, Vivian Haney and Katherine Lavender; his grandchildren, Taylor Givens, Addie Lavender and Ben Lavender; and his cousin Sarah Melton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church (767 Pinehurst Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery (767 Pinehurst Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040).
