He was predeceased by: his parents, Luss Beaty and Emma Beaty; his grandson Austin Dakota "Cody" Beaty; and his sister Fern Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Beaty; his children, Lynn Davis (Terry) of Gastonia and Jeff Beaty (Kim) of Sunshine; his grandchildren, Heather Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tracy Goodson (Bobby), Leslie Buchanan (John), Erica Bissontz (Alex) and Travis Beaty of Sunshine; and his great grandchildren, Deisy, Richard Davis, Joey, Regan, Davis Goodson, Brenett, Xander, Henry Bissontz and Jackson Buchanan.
