She was predeceased by: her husband John Byron Lookadoo; her parents, Grady Campbell and Johnnie McFarland Campbell; her daughter Joyce Motaleb; and her siblings, Addie Mae Daves, Annie Bell Howell, Mary Louise McNeilly, Dewey Campbell and Earnest Campbell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Denise Lookadoo Davis (Jamie) of Gastonia and Myra Lookadoo of Rock Hill, SC; her siblings, Helen Campbell Miller, Gene Campbell and Herman Campbell of Golden Valley; her son-in-law Moson Motaleb of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Elliott Motaleb (Bienddy), Emily Bellis (Jackson), Evan Motaleb, Chelsea McHugh (Matt) and Skyler Smith; and her great grandchildren, Abigail Bellis, Nolan Bellis and Everly Bellis.
