He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Bumgarner; his daughter-in-law Brooke Bumgarner; his grandparents, John Henry, Hulda Bumgarner, Horace and Bertie Lee Smith; and his father-in-law Buren Hudson.
He is survived by: his mother Eva Mae Bumgarner of Casar; his sons, Donny Bumgarner (Terri Pangallo) of Golden Valley, Andy Bumgarner (Jennifer) of Golden Valley and Brad Bumgarner of Golden Valley; his siblings, Donna Smith (Steve) of Golden Valley and Ronnie Bumgarner (Peggy) of West Virginia; his grandchildren, Austin (Morgan), Raeanne, Christian, Annsley, Skylar and Lawsyn Bumgarner; his great grandchildren, Brookley Coggins and Lennox Bumgarner; and his mother-in-law Lula Mae Hudson of Georgia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Golden Valley Missionary Methodist Church (6800 Bostic Sunshine Hwy, Bostic, NC 28018). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
