It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Bennett Steelman of Boonville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Steelman and Edith Combs Steelman; his wife Colene Kimmer Steelman; and his grandson James Steelman. He is survived by: his children, Danette Steelman-Bridges (Keith), Janene Steelman-Dolge (Matthew), James Shannon Steelman (Tracie) and Amara Steelman-White (Tim); his grandchildren, Joshua Bridges (Valentina), Mark Bridges, Stephen Bridges, Andrew Dolge, Christopher Dolge, Kaleigh Vanhoy (Connor), Laken Freed (Zach), Houston Steelman, Jessica Walton (Seth), Brittany White, Kennedy-Grace White and Rylan White; his great grandchildren, Emma Bridges, Bryce, Kinsley Vanhoy and Piper Freed; and his sisters, Nell Norman, Linda Crissman (Jack) and Jenny Carter (Kenneth).
