He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Childress; and his wife Sheila Ann Childress (Campbell). He is survived by: his close friend Bonnie Snow; his children, Greg Childress (Julie Vanhoy) of Boonville and Candie Hudgins (Jeff) of McLeansville; his sisters, Betty Childress of Jonesville, Mary Reeves of Wichita, KS and Lynn Jennings (Steve) of McGrady; and his grandchildren, Lyndsey Edwards (Madison Harris) of Columbus, OH and Madisyn Newkirk of McLeansville.
