He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Evans and Hazel Kimmer Evans; his wife Jettie Williams Triplett Evans; his siblings, Mary Shaw, Nannie Sue Williams, Verle Evans and Ronnie Evans; and his great grandchild Carol Lynn Triplett.
He is survived by: his grandson Remington; his children, Joy Spillman (Scotty) and Darrell Triplett; his grandchildren, Lane Triplett (Candance) and Lauren Davis (Shyea); his great grandchildren, Cohen, Merritt Davis and Hendrix Triplett; and his brother Bill Evans (Lucy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
