She was predeceased by: her parents, Giles Clifford Lucas and Myrtle Short Lucas; and her sisters, Sarah Philyaw and Susan Kearney. She is survived by: her husband Eddie Ray Cook; her daughters, Deana Cook (Chris) and Samantha Cook (Frankie Marion); and her brothers, Johnny Lucas (Wanda), James Lucas (Eva) and Tommy Lucas (Brenda).

Burial will follow at Charity Baptist Cemetery.
