We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2019, at the age of 83, Dixia Colene Steelman (Boonville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Kimmer and Hester Mosteller Kimmer; her siblings, James Kimmer, Hazel Evans, Doris Shore, Mozelle Hall, Howard Kimmer and Vermell Kimmer; and her grandson James Lynn Steelman.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Bennett "Benny" Steelman; her children, Danette Steelman-Bridges (Keith), Janene Steelman-Dolge (Matthew), James Shannon Steelman (Tracie) and Amara Steelman-White (Tim); her grandchildren, Joshua Bridges (Valentina), Mark Bridges, Stephen Bridges, Andrew Dolge, Christopher Dolge, Kaleigh Vanhoy (Connor), Laken Steelman, Houston Steelman, Jessica Walton (Seth), Brittany White, Kennedy-Grace White and Rylan White; her great grandchildren, Bryce Vanhoy and Kinsley Vanhoy; and her sister Velma Wagoner. She is also survived by wife and wonderful mother and loved her grandchildren.
