He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lytle Porter; his sons, William Bradley Hampton and Kevin LaQuan Williamson; his stepchildren, Samuel Dewayne Hood, Jr., Michael Sherrod Shepard (Erica) and Jacqueline Nicole Shepard; his grandchildren, Bralyn Hampton, Michalea Shepard, Kylan Shepard, Justin Shepard, Janelle Knight and Jayla Shepard; and his sisters, Cynthia Russell (Richard), Jada Ganzzermiller (Joe) and Tujuana Welborn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
