He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lyons; his wife Phyllis Ann Hemric Lyons; his grandfather Jesse Lyons; his mother-in-law Betty Lou Hemric; and his brothers, Steve Gentry and Jerry Lyons.
He is survived by: his son David Lyons II (Emma); his pet Hunter Lyons; and his sister Patricia Waddell. He is also survived by family members and friends.
