He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Cave and Linda Hutson Cave; his wife Betty Lou Hardy Cave; and his siblings, Clarence Cave, Grell Cave and Perline Vestal.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Cave, Kathy Wall, Ricky Cave and Bill Cave; and his sisters, Mary Wilkins and Linda Barber. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
