He was predeceased by: his parents, Berlie C. Adams and Maude W. Adams; his siblings, Dorothy Holcomb, Evelyn Barnard, Reba Davis and Hoyt Adams; and his niece Christine Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Doris S. Adams; his son Timothy W. Adams of Winston-Salem; his godchildren, Nameeta, Tejus Penkar of San Clementa, CA., Maneesh Penkar and Sejal Penkar; his children, Aiden and Kieran of Redondo Beach, CA; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Adams and Brenda Puckett; his nieces and nephews, Mike, Brent, Leslie, Dale, Jason, Margaret, Jean, Debbie, Carmen, Cheryl, Dawn, Lisa and Susan M.; and his friends, Jyoti Penkar and Suresh Penkar.
