It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William McKinley Coffey (Boone, North Carolina), who passed away on January 23, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard Greene Coffey and Nancy Elizabeth Coffey. He is survived by: his wife Rena Day Coffey; his daughter Temple Coffey of Boone; his granddaughter Sierra McKinney of Boone; his siblings, Shirley Coffey of Lenoir, Inez Hanson of Boone and Gradie Louis Coffey (Evelyn); his niece Joanna of Boone; and his brothers, Duie Coffey (Anita) of Morganton, David Coffey (Debbie) of Deep Gap and Wilbert Coffey of Boone.
