While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Taft and Mary Guignard Elder of Banner Elk; and his in-laws, Mary Frances, Charlie Frisbie, Cliff, Kathy Elder, John, Olga Elder, Mike and Diane Robbins.
