He was predeceased by: his mother Julia Melvleen Watson; and his siblings, Jessie Bennett and Tammy. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Oliver Watson; his son Theo Hensley (Caitlin Brown) of Butler, TN; his grandchildren, Ezekiel Hensley, Daniel Hensley, Waymon Sealey-Brown and Logan Hensley; his stepson Samuel Ritter; his adoptive son Dakota Hemrick; his sister Charlotte Bennett; and his niece Anna Bennett.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Austin & Barnes Funeral Home to assist his family with expenses.
