As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Steven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He is survived by: his wife Patty Porch Stacy; his brother Rick Stacy (Gail) of Jonesborough, TN; his father-in-law Clarence Porch (Christine) of Boone; his siblings-in-law, Diana Calloway (Chris) of Boone and J. R. Porch (Heather) of Boone; his nieces, Lauren Greer (Tanner) of Lenoir and Alanna Stallings (Brandon); his nephew Dalton Porch of Boone; and his great-niece Mila Greer of Lenoir.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Lawn Memorial Park (521 Old East King St, Boone, NC 28607).
