It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia Allease Deal of Boone, North Carolina, born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Tucker and Bertice Tucker; her sister Gwyn Griffin; and her stepdaughter Jackie Godwin. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her sons, Tucker Deal and Tyler Deal (David Gray); her grandchildren, Spencer Godwin, Cooper Godwin and Josephine Deal-Gray; her nephews, Lane Griffin (Wendy) and Alan Griffin (Melody); her great-niece Shea Griffin; her nephews, Brady Deal, Chad Deal and Jay Laney; and her niece Lisa Laney.
