She is survived by: her husband Sherrill Thomas Hampton; her daughters, Christy Moore-Williams of Asheville and Shannon Fortner of Tampa, FL; her stepdaughters, Monica Allsbrook (Richard) of Greenville, NC and Vonda Hampton (Kevin McCusker) of Reston, VA; her sister Phyllis Scott of West Jefferson; and her grandchildren, Julia Klinedinst (Tyler) of Morrisville, Jackson Allsbrook of Greenville and Avery McCusker of Reston, VA.
