She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin Shoemaker and Clara Lavena Goin Shoemaker; her husband Kenneth Phipps; her siblings, Mildred Hillebrand (Archie), Howard Shoemaker (Kathleen) and Kenneth Shoemaker (Blanch); and her children, Christine Neville and Wayne Phipps.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Johnson (Alvin), Dean Mantle (Kathy) and David Phipps (Jane). She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and 12 great great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and two cousins.
