She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard Henry and Grace Olive Smith (Reed); her husband Thomas Wesley Young; and her siblings, Whitney, Everett, Tilman, Joyce Manuel, Madelyn Walden, Elaine Martin, Jane Breeden, Alice Grossnickle and Sharon Smith.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Neuner (Smith), Donald and Calvin Smith; her son Lieutenant Colonel Dillard Wesley (Retired); her grandchildren, Mary Grace Young and Owen Wesley Young; and her stepchildren, Linda Lou (Young), Resh (Bobby), Thomas Wesley Young, II and Philip Lee Young. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
