He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Lester; his sister Kathryn Stephens; and his stepbrothers, Michael Wyscaver and Eric Wyscaver. He is survived by: his father Earl Engel (Marlene); his brother Darrin Engel; and his stepsiblings, Charles Wyscaver and Susann Burney.
