She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lamm and Lovie Lamm; her husband John Brinkman; and her daughter Donna Hoyle. She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Gardner of Indian Land and Robin Swartzbeck of Orlando, Florida; and her stepchildren, Marty Brinkman of Raleigh and Debbie of Roan Mountain. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
