He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daniel and Melvaline Watson Bennett; and his daughter Jessica Grace. He is survived by: his sister Charlotte Bennett of Boone; his half-siblings, Samantha Bennett of South Carolina, Jessie James Barnett of South Carolina and Teddy David Watson (Virginia) of Boone; his niece Anna Nichole Bennett of Virginia; and his nephew Theodore Hensley of Tennessee. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
