With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Hugh Norwood of Boone, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester "Bear" Norwood and Sudie Ruppard Norwood; and his siblings, Buster, Junior Norwood, Lola Pritchard and Ida Mae Sword.
He is survived by: his close friend Jean McKenzie; his brother Jerry Norwood of Banner Elk; his nephew William Norwood; and his close friends, Ottie Williams, Steve Williams and Sonia Winters. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
