He is survived by: his brother Wendell Ligon of Hartsville, SC; his children, Melissa Hudgins (Dave) and Wen Ligon of South Hill; his sister Lucy Heffelfinger (Karl); his nephews, Richard and Jonathan (Jeani) of Newton, NC; his sister Rachel Bradley; his nephew William; his niece Mary River of Asheville, NC; his stepsiblings, Wendy Deese (Jim) of Greensboro, NC, Susan Sisk (Junior) of Ferrum, Virginia and Eric Wilson (Monica) of Charlotte, NC; and also, Sommer Barnes, Lane, Brooks, Patrick (Gina), Hannah Kessler (Cory) and Andrew Wilson.
