He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Irving and Harriet Kelly Hoyle; and his nephew David Miles. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kemmer Hoyle of Boone; his children, Angela Turrisi (Joe) of Ashe County, Jessica Horney (Danny) of Watauga County and Clayton Hoyle (Annetta) of Carroll County; his sister Christina Glover (Bob) of Guyton; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Christopher, Matthew, Heather, Luke, Aaron, Cassandra, Elizabeth and Danielle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Hebron Colony, 356 Old Turnpike Road Boone, NC 28607 or the Watauga Gun Club.
