He was predeceased by: his parents, Herald E. Badders and Parilee Parker Badders; his brother Hurley E. Badders; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Badders and Engrum Johnson; his nephew-in-law William McBride; and his great-nephew AJ Badders.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Badders; his daughters, Kimberly Sundt (Dave Tompkins) of Beaufort, SC and Leigh Lyall (Jean-Claude) of Boone, NC; his siblings-in-law, Tommie Ann, Phil Ward of Florence, SC and Lynn Johnson-Gallucci of Simpsonville, SC; his nieces and nephews, April McBride, Ashley Hylton (Brandon), Parker Lanier Badders, William Johnson (Vicki), Lee Ward (Kelsey), Shawn Garrison (Katt) and Deane Harrison (Christi); and his grandchildren, Amy Grodi (Jason), Brandy Lyall (Eric Dunn) and Chris Lyall (Lindsay). He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, and bonus great-grandchildren.
