He was predeceased by: his father Burl Greene; and his brother J. B. Greene. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Jones Greene of Boone; his children, Kevin Greene (Vladina) of Charlotte, Kim Greene (Ben) of Boone and Keshia Brannock (Travis) of Boone; his grandchildren, Parker Greene, Sam, Wil, Abe, Gus Greene, Anna, Beau and Crue Brannock; his siblings, Lanetta Byrd (Gary) of Marion, Bill Greene (Sherry) of Boone and Robert Greene (Renee) of Boone; and his close friend Becky McDonough. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
