She was predeceased by: her parents, Blan Hamby and Treva Norris Hamby; her siblings, Diane Triplett and Denver Hamby; and her son-in-law Tim Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Buddy Townsend; her daughters, Tammy Nelson and Michelle Cox (Chad); her grandchildren, Katelyn Baldwin (Drew) and Dawson Cox (Madison); her great grandchild Reid Allen Baldwin; her siblings, Donna Triplette (Harold), Doyce Hamby and Debra Vannoy (Terry); and her brother-in-law Norman Triplett. She is also survived by nephews as "Aunt Duck" and her many special friends.
