She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rose Marie Buck Lyons and Ned D. Lyons, Jr.; her husband Morgan Lawrence Shaw; her sons, Christopher Morgan Shaw of Zionville and Cody St. Clair Shaw (Emma Ruth Beason) of Banner Elk; and her siblings, Anna Grace Lyons of Vilas, Jerry Michael Lyons (Judy) of Maryland, Thomas Danny Lyons (Danna) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Harry Dean Lyons (Susan) of Boone. She was also cherished by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Watauga Humane Society, Post Office Box 1835, Boone, NC 28607.
