She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Lee Hicks Guy and Ray Odell Guy; her husband Earl Phillips; and her siblings, Eddie Joe, Junior Ray, Ralph, Robert, Lon, Terry and Shelby Jean Guy Jones.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny Phillips (Laurie) of Sugar Grove and Josh Phillips (Amanda) of Sugar Grove; her grandchildren, Benjamin Phillips (Whitney), Anna Phillips of Winston-Salem, Olivia Phillips of Bloomington, IN and Austin Phillips (Chloe) of Sugar Grove; her nephews, Anthony Jones (Barbara) of Sugar Grove and Shane Jones (Kristy) of Butler, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Phillips Bentley (Sam) of Boone and Kate Phillips Cogan of Boone. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
