She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeffery Shook and Beulah Shook; her husband Buster Norwood; her daughter Melissa Miller; and her grandson Jason Norwood.
She is survived by: her children, William Norwood and Linda (Kevin Warren); her grandchildren, Chelsey Norwood, Jessica Norwood, Jeffrey Norwood, Chad Miller, Travis Miller, Dustin Miller and Elesha White; her great grandchildren, Ella Smith, Madison Norwood, Bella Norwood, Ava Norwood, Jacob Norwood, Abby Norwood and Landon Norwood; and her great great grandchild Paisley Norwood.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Austin and Barnes Funeral Home (194 Queen St, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Medi Home Health and Hospice.
