It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Potter (Boone, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burleson and Fannie Mae Burleson; her husband Willie Austin Potter; her grandson Robert Austin Potter; and her brothers, J. D., Delmar, Lee, Ted, Olin and Herman Burleson.
She is survived by: her sons, Billy Potter (Carol) of Boone, Gary Potter of Boone and Larry Potter (Sarah) of Boone; her grandchildren, Michelle Evans (Ron) of Boone, Chris Potter (Dena) of Boone and Marie Potter of Winston-Salem; and her great grandchild LCpl.
