She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Newton Windle and Dorothy O'Donnell. She is survived by: her children, Tracey Brown of Vilas, NC, Shawn Windle of Boone, NC and Sarah Connell of Lenoir, NC; and her siblings, Michelle Chase of South Carolina, Roy Windle (Ann) of Florida, John Windle of Florida, Diane Windle of Florida and Kay Klasen of Florida.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Lawn Cemetery (521 Old East King St, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Austin & Barnes Funeral Home (194 Queen St, Boone, NC 28607).
