He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Miller and Blanche Proffitt Miller; his sons, Jeffery Miller, Tony Miller and Christopher Miller; and his siblings, J. D. Miller, Jim Miller, Hubert Miller, Bob Miller, Grady Miller and Lena Mae Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Sentelle Miller; his son Greg "Bumble bee" Miller (Mandi Miller); his daughter-in-law Anita Miller of Boone; his grandchildren, Adrieanna Ray (Jacob), Bryce Miller, Ottman Miller and Kaycee Miller; his stepgrandson Alden Dishman; and his great grandchildren, Kendall and Wyatt Ray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Special Olympics c/o Watauga Parks and Rec, 231 Complex Drive, Boone, NC 28607, which Mr. Miller held a special place in his heart for this cause.
