It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vanessa Pardue of Boomer, North Carolina, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on April 19, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackie Lee and Patricia Ann Blevins Fitzwater; her husband Clate Edward "Eddie" Pardue; and her daughter Shalyn Dawn Smith. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Lynn McDorman of Florida, Serenity Hope Avis, Seth Earnest Avis (Connie), Delane Pardue of Boomer and Brian Holland of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Christopher Collier, Logan McDorman, Cole Smith, Zachariah Smith, Starla Marie Avis, Tyler Pardue and Trinity Pardue; her sister Jennifer Quillen (Darrell) of Quinwood, WV; her brother-in-law Charles Pardue (Judy) of Boomer; her nieces, Pam Combs of Boomer, Mandy Stamper (TJ) of Boomer and Annette Byrd of Wilkesboro; her nephew Jeremy Quillen (Samantha) of Quinwood, WV.; her great-niece Lauren Stamper of Boomer; and her great-nephews, Kadon Taylor of Boomer and Braxton Quillen of Quinwood, WV..
