He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Isaac Watts and Dorothy Wilson Watts of Virginia; his wife Rita Jean Crump Watts; and his son Chad Brandon Peele. He is survived by: his children, John Watts of Wilmington, Christy Richards of Moravian Falls, Heather Bare (Tim) of Lenoir and Sara Conner (Matthew) of Lenoir; his sister Virginia Watts of Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Olivia Lawrence, Morgan Murphy, Madison Beard, Macy Murphy and Lani Beard; and his great grandchild Ivy Murphy.
